How We Work

Being your IT partner starts with knowing your business.

We can’t be part of your team without understanding how you work. That means getting to know your people, your operations, your goals, and the issues getting in your way.

Our approach is called CAPE: Clarify, Assess, Plan, and Execute. You’re involved in every step, from the first questions to putting the agreed plan into action.

Your business. A plan we build together.

You should understand the decisions that affect your business.

What are we looking at? Why does it matter? What are we recommending? You should have clear answers and room to ask questions before we move forward.

Clarify

First, we listen.

We ask how your business operates, what you want to accomplish, and what’s getting in the way. Then we talk through what we’ve heard so you can confirm we’ve understood, correct anything we’ve missed, and add what matters.

That gives us a shared understanding of the situation before we begin assessing it or recommending changes.

Assess

Check what we’ve learned.

We take what you’ve told us and check it against what’s in place. We examine the systems and details relevant to the work, ask follow-up questions, and identify what we can confirm, what doesn’t line up, and what still needs an answer.

We bring those findings back to you before building the plan.

Plan

Understand the recommendation before agreeing to the work.

Every recommendation is based on what you’ve told us, what we’ve verified, and what we believe will help or protect your business.

We walk you through each proposed change, explain why we think it’s worth doing, and discuss its benefits and limitations. You should understand what you’re paying for before we agree on the work.

Execute

Put the agreed plan into action.

An agreed plan doesn’t mean we can unplug your firewall whenever it suits us. If the work will interrupt your business, we agree on when that interruption can happen before we start.

Some work needs a scheduled visit and an outage window. Other work needs daily standups with your team. We establish how we’ll coordinate and communicate based on what we’re doing and who needs to be involved.

Let’s start with what you need.

Whether you need managed IT, cybersecurity, compliance support, or guidance on a technology project, the first step is a conversation.
